Painted my bedroom. The guys did a great job. Arrived on time, fast and efficient, and everything was all cleaned up when they left.

I am going to be putting my home on the market, so I wanted to “spiff” it up with a nice power wash. Certain parts of the siding, particularly on the front and under the porch awning, were extremely dirty. Many of the gutters were practically black with dirt or tinged green with fungus (I have a massive oak tree that overhangs my house, adding to lots of schmutz on everything.) I wasn’t sure everything could be cleaned, particularly the gutters. Enter Ace Painting! My new “heroes” came over (Tom and his hard working assistant) and, within an hour, pressure washed the house and garage so well that it now looks shiny new! The gutters are now a bright white, and the siding looks fantastic. Tom was very communicative in setting up the appointment, and called me when he was on his way which I really appreciated. Both Tom and his assistant were extremely friendly and just got down to business working, not wasting any time. Very, very professional. I simply couldn’t be happier with Ace Painting’s service, quality and price. It was money well spent and I know any potential buyers that come to view my home will be impressed (I should have had this done long ago so that I could enjoy it longer!!) Thank you, Ace Painting, for your A+ service!! P.S. I was able to get this pressure wash done at a discounted price of $89 due to an Angie’s List special offer. However, the work would have been worth it even at Ace’s regular price of $150 per hour since it added SO much to my home’s value and curb appeal (even if I wasn’t moving). Tom and his crew were great – they came in early AM and finished the job on time. The job was very well done, they were very careful, they would find and fix the issues themselves. We even left the keys with the crew when we had to go out. They cleaned up after themselves. A job very well done – thank you Tom, Don and Jacob. A very skilful team and we are looking forward for them to come back and do the exterior. I got all interior of our home painted – 4 beds, kitchen, diner, living, family and all other areas. He will come in a few weeks to paint the exterior and the deck.

Don arrived 15 minutes early – that’s an A+. I was immediately impressed when he removed his shoes and made friends with my 3 small dogs, that’s an A++. I showed him the furnace / mud room that needed painting. He went right to work AND exceeded my expectations when he was able to squeeze around duct work and paint BEHIND the furnace!! I don’t think that wall has seen fresh paint in over 40 years!! He made recommendations on a putty product to purchase to repair a tiny hole in a stained luan door. His work was precise, neat and clean. He taped the door and floor moldings and used drop cloths to protect my tile. He applied a final coat of polyurethane to 2 doors and it looks great! This is the type of quality work one should expect, and Don delivered. I plan on using them again soon to paint my dining, kitchen and living room. A++ to Ace Painting!

I originally purchased a deal to paint a 12×13 room for $99. I knew that the wall had some water damage and would need repair but I was prepared to just paint over it for a clean look. I was not going to have the ceiling painted due to the anticipated cost. Ace Painting gave me an estimate to make repairs within my budget so I had the wall and ceiling repaired for $100 then paid an extra $75 to have the ceiling painted too. I really appreciate Ace working with me to find a way to inexpensively make repairs within my budget. They were prompt for the appointment and very courteous. The work took about 4 hours to complete. The paint dried and we could see the new paint did not cover well. They were very quick to come back the next day to correct the spots. It took over 2 hours to make the touch ups. I purchased the big deal for $149 for Interior Painting. I had them paint the ceilings and I had to pay additional for them to do the additional ceilings for me.

Tom and Don were great. Both were friendly, professional, punctual. When I was in the process of reviewing estimates, I called Tom with some questions and left a message. This was on a Sunday, and he returned the call the same day. They cleaned up after themselves each day that they were here. The leftover paint was marked for me (what color and what room it was used in). I have zero complaints. When I’m ready to have more painting done, Ace Painting is who I will call. Patched ceiling from water leak in kitchen, then painted ceiling. Removed paper in bathroom, patched walls, painted ceiling and walls. Painted ceiling and walls in staircase area and office.

I could not be happier. Tom contacted me promptly and scheduled the day to paint. His worker Don arrived 15 minutes early. Don was awesome! He put down drop clothes and prepped everything as soon as he arrived. He was precise in painting around the ceiling, doors and windows. There was no paint splattered anywhere! Ace was very prompt, completed the job in a 1/2 day and left an estimate for painting the living room. All cleanup was done and the quality of work was very good. With cabinetry, there are alot of tight spots and edges to maintain. Painted my kitchen using the Angie’s list deal.

Excellent job. It was a multi-day job and they cleaned up every day before they left. Very professional. We had paint over wallpaper on our walls and they were able to prime and repaint without having to remove the old paper since we were not sure what condition the walls were in. Great team. Very good, neat, cleaned up well. The only reason I probably wouldn’t use them again is that I have an old house and usually repairs are needed in the crack on plaster before painting. They made the repairs but didn’t sand it smooth–you can see the patch place and also the same by the woodwork where it was “caulked”– But if you are painting drywall–or basic straight forward jobs–they would be great. Don, an associate of Tom, the owner, did excellent work. The painting looks much smoother than when I do it myself. He arrived on time (actually, early), was very neat, and was kind enough to give me hints for doing an excellent painting job if I do paint on my own again. Tom, the owner, was responsive, helpful, polite. I would certainly use Ace again. Painted 4 walls (including a wall of paneled closet doors) in master bedroom.

I used them twice. I purchased a deal with them. They did a small job and I was so impressed I had them come out again. They were very good, punctual and quality. I would not bring them back if they did not do a good job. Put the booties on their feet. Very professional. I used Ace Painting to paint a bunch of rooms for me.

Tom made the appt. for 7:00 a.m. so that he could be done early and I wouldn’t be late for work. He showed up 15 minutes early! There was a bad “smudged” area on the front of my house due to some yews I had taken down. They had swayed against my house and scratched at my paint for many years, and Tom took the time to scrub that area to see if it could be improved. That actually was the reason I got my house powerscrubbed. Overall, my house looked much better, but now I see how badly it needs painting! Painted my living room and ceiling. When he left there were spots missed and paint on moldings.

Ace painting did a great job. They were very professional and courteous. We would definitely contact them for future work. I was most impressed when after painting one of the accent walls he stopped painting and called to tell us that the color we choose was not working. We came home to look at it and he was right. We appreciated his patience in stopping the work to ensure we were satisfied with the finished product. He also provided a fair price for the work that was done. Provided painting in 6 rooms. Repaired joint tape where it was damaged on vaulted ceiling and bedroom.

I had all sides of my house including gutters power washed. One side had heavy staining and took longer than the others but is now perfectly clean. I am very happy with the results and would use Tom again. I had purchased an Angie’s List deal in August for 1 hour of power washing for $89 and intended only getting the heavily stained side of my house cleaned. When Tom arrived, however, he said he could do they whole house and the gutters as well. My house has a large footprint with lots of angled roofs (so lots of guttering). There was no pressure from him and after a brief discussion about the cost I agreed. | |My only area of slight disappointment is how long it took to get a date on the calendar for this work. I didn’t mind waiting but just didn’t like that I had to contact Tom so many times before he was able to suggest a date.

They did an excellent job. My husband was saying today that they did wonderful. I will use them again and I’ve already given their information to family members for which they need interior painting. I used the services of Ace Painting. They painted my whole house.

Painted our kitchen. He was fast, thorough and it looks beautiful.

Don arrived exactly on time and went right to work after I showed him the room that needed painting. He used drop cloths to protect the hardwood floors, asked questions to understand exactly what needed done. He removed all outlet covers and switchplates as well as spacked holes and cracks. In other words he did all the prep work necessary to ensure the job came out right. Don completed one coat of paint on the walls, then while that dried he went to work on the door trim. These doors were the old 15 pane interior doors. He completed the trim job perfectly without getting even a speck of paint on any of the glass. Once the trim was done, he finished the second coat on the other room walls. I am so pleased with the work Don did at my house. Everything was done perfectly. He cleaned up after himself and when he was done there was not even a speck of paint on the hardwood flooring. I will definitely be calling ACE very soon to do more work in my house. For anyone reading this if you need anything painted, call these guys. You can’t go wrong! Don from ACE Painting painted the walls in one room and the 2 door trims for a different room.

After a bad experience with a different painting outfit (missed appointment, lack of responsiveness) I contacted Tom at Ace Painting and after several emails back and forth we agreed on a Feb 3 date for the work (this was less than a week after my original contact). Anyway Tom and his assistant, Don, showed up on time and ready to work. I’m not an over-the-shoulder kind of employer so I and my overly friendly dog, Mo, got out of their way while they proceeded with the job. By about 3:30 pm all three projects had been completed although Tom was concerned that the stairwell needed a third coat and would I mind if Don came back the next day to add the coat. I agreed and again, Don was on time and went right to work. After a couple of hours Don had finished up and left. Their clean up and work was impeccable and I am happy to highly recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up his/her home. To paraphrase Tom, there are a lot of “meatballs” in the painting business, but Ace Painting is certainly not one of them.

Did a great job – we are having them back this week to paint the rest of our 1st floor! Don came and painted our stairway walls all the way from the second floor to the basement. He was professional, quick and did a fantastic job!

Another beautiful job by Tom and Don !! I have used them 2x before to paint my Condo as I get portions of my re-model done. With the exception of one room, they have painted nearly the whole interior of my home and not only is it beautiful, their work is quite precise. They pay careful attention to detail and ask questions to make sure everything is done to your liking. They are extremely careful with moving furniture, and make sure everything is covered. I have yet to find 1 speck of paint where it doesn’t belong. I have split faced brick walls in 3 rooms (one with cathedral ceiling) which is not an easy job to paint due to unevenness of the brick. This requires extra effort and time to make sure all nooks and crannies are covered. Most Painters would insist on spraying it. However, they didn’t. Tom was not in the least bit put out by this challenge and didn’t insist on charging extra money for the additional labor involved. I have one small project left to do, and plan on calling them back to paint that room. So, when that’s completed, I can say they have painted my whole interior of my home and it looks outstanding! In summary, they are super friendly, professional and knowledgeable, on time and neat, and clean up everything better than when they arrived. Oh, and they love animals too. These are the kind of guys you want to send home with a big batch of home made chocolate chip cookies… 🙂 Highly recommend to family and friends. We had several areas that needed some major patching (from the previous owners ‘wall hanging and shower curtain rod) before the painting could be started. The job was perfect! They painted my family room and living room. To do both rooms, it took a couple extra hours. It went very well.

They are professional, courteous, and very neat. They clean up after themselves. When they left, there was little else I had to do.

The guy who came out was great. He came within the first few weeks after I purchased the big deal and he did not charge me anything more than the big deal price. He painted the trim, around the windows and all that in the room. I was not in here when he did the job but I think that he did the work for about two hours or so. There was nothing wrong about him. Everything about him was positive and great.

Excellent job in pressure washing our vinyl-sided home. Had purchased an hour of service, knowing that the job would likely require more. Was a bit disappointed to be charged for an additional hour when the job took about 90 minutes in total. Otherwise, the service and quality of work were great.

A piece of my furniture was really loose after they finished, as if they were standing on it to reach the ceiling; that’s why they make step ladders.

Had dining room painted, walls & ceiling (ceiling cost an additional $100, on top of special price for walls). Painter did an excellent job with prepping (for example,scraping some peeling places, patching holes where pictures were hung, prepping new plaster who repair was made in ceiling). Did excellent job in cutting in around woodwork and crown molding. Due to amount of patching & sanding, only issue was that they should have hung plastic over doorways to prevent dust from covering the whole downstairs! A few other minor clean up issues. Talked to Tom, the owner, afterwards & assured me he would make sure that these issues were addressed in future jobs.

We purchased the paint and cleared the room except for several large pieces which we moved to center of room. When the work was finished the painter moved it back into place without even being asked. Asked for vacuum and cleaned up everything afterward. We were very pleased with the service and would call them again if we need any further work. Highly recommend them. Painted one bedroom

Ace painting only communicated with me through messages on Angie’s list despite asking for my phone number. I felt I would be at least called by phone and spoken to in person since my number was requested the first night of my big deal purchase. I feel strung along with email messages and no personal contact. I was told in an email they are 2 weeks out and it took one week to tell me that. If they are so busy to have proper contact with the customer maybe they shouldn’t offer so many big deals. I informed them I have a painting project with a deadline due to carpet arriving but there has been no sense customer service.

I purchased a big deal for $99 for One Room of Interior Painting. The service hasn’t been done yet. They said they could not paint the kitchen where we had wall paper removed because the glue was still on the walls. I am going to have them come back to paint the bathroom instead. It was a slight misunderstanding which was no problem.

I paid for 8hrs of a painter; two young men showed up. One man started painting the doors. The other young man started taping the main door I wanted painted. At the end of time the most important door I wanted painted was not. I painted it myself later. Basically I had one painter for 4 hrs. His work was good but I paid for 8 hrs. Not the best result.

Tom and Don are a talented crew, and their pricing was the best in the area. But what really impressed us was their professionalism — they were punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and exceptionally clean. They were so clean, in fact, that they put each room back together for us at the end of each day, and they did not drip/track a single drop of paint on any of the otehr surfaces in our home (including floors!). I recommend them wholeheartedly, without any reservations.

I am very satisfied with the work. The house looks great and he even took time to hand scrub a part of the siding that had stubborn stains. In the past, different vendors just left the stains there without trying to get them off. The vendor also called me on the date of service to confirm time of arrival and arrived exactly as promised. Since he also offers painting services, I inquired about a job and he was honest and very straightforward. Bought the coupon for 8hr for 2 people. I sent him an e-mail asking if he would do a ceiling for that price and he responded quickly and said yes. I was expecting just to have my ceiling done which was “stomped” with drywall compound and was still raw. They painted the ceiling on 3 open rooms (kitchen, kitchette, and living room). I had the paint for my kitchen and they agreed to paint the kitchen and while they were at it, asked about my living room. Said if I had the paint they would re-paint that room also. That room was a dark burgundy. We went to the store and bought 2 gal of paint, he let us use his discount and they put 2 coats on the living room. So for the $400, we had the ceiling on 3 rooms, the kitchen/kitchette painted and 2 coats on the living room. We had an estimate for the same work and it was a lot higher. While they were here, I asked about my 2 story foyer and they gave me a price and came back 2 weeks later and did my our 2 story foyer. Tom was quick to respond, he actually answers the phone each time we called him. While they were here for the second time, we mentioned that we had 1 loose shingle on the roof. Before we knew it, Don had gone up on the roof and repaired our shingle without a word. Took us complete by surprised.

They painted one large area, a room and up the stairs. They were diligent, not wasting one minute! They did not complete the job to their satisfaction in the one day proposed, so they decided to come for a few hours the next day. I was satisfied with their work and impressed with their work ethic. And, they cleaned up after themselves.

Interior painting of 5 rooms. Communication was very vital for this project, and it was open and candid. I would recommend this company to anyone not willing or able to paint themselves. I cannot find a single flaw in the work they performed!

As a business owner myself, I respect and would highly recommend Tom from Ace Painting. We had many rooms in our new house that needed painting; some rooms had accent wall colors. Tom did a phenomenal job in matching exact paint colors, precision edging on corners, and added as many coats as necessary to achieve the desired results, and maintained a clean and organized working environment. Tom was quick to communicate via phone or text, arrived early every day, was professional at all times while at our house, accommodated our schedule and moved or worked around our furniture as necessary. Tom’s rates are comparable, if even slightly less than the average; but make no mistake that although his rates were extremely reasonable, we still received a high quality painting in all rooms. I have worked with many painters over the past 25 years and would recommend only two painters; Tom of Ace Painting is among those two (the other is in California).

Tom and his crew were great. They got there early in the mornings and just worked. I wasn’t there all the day so I trusted them with giving them a key to come and go. They were super reliable and I loved how Tom was always reachable and communicated on progress or issues. I got several bids on painting and Tom wasn’t the lowest bid, I picked him because he knew was he was talking about and was flexible on schedule to work around my remodel. He painted the whole inside of the house downstairs, all halls, and several rooms upstairs. In addition, he is power washing and painting my deck.

Shortly after purchasing the deal on Angie?s List Tom contacted me by email and gave me his cell number to set the appointment. I spoke with Tom and was easily able to set the appointment, my first choice of dates and times worked with his schedule. Tom showed up a few minutes ahead of the start time and went to work right away. He had an additional painter join him a few hours into the job and between the two of them they were able to paint a large master bedroom (2-3 coats of paint) and a large master bath (2 coats of paint). They went above and beyond at the end of the job and vacuumed the rooms and moved the furniture back into place. They also took the time to replace all of the switch plates. (I had expected to do those jobs after they were gone.) I would definitely recommend their services. They were very courteous and easy to work with. Great job! I had purchased a package for $199.99 that included 8 hours of painting.

He moved a large desk/hutch to prepare the space for painting. His workmanship was outstanding and he moved everything back where it belonged.
